Into the Woods and Out of the Shadows
What do you get when you cross The Brothers Grimm with composer and lyricist Stephen Sondheim? The answer: A rollicking combination of classic fairy tales and Broadway tunes gone slightly awry. Into The Woods Junior will reintroduce you to childhood characters that we all know and loved and converge them in a musical misadventure.
True Coalescence
Artists Susan Clinard and Nicole van Axx may create very different art, but both understand the power of creativity and artistic expression and how they can inspire youth.
On February 27, 2010, the Kehler Liddell Gallery in New Haven hosted “Coalescence,” an Art Show and evening of entertainment to benefit Klingberg Family Centers Performing and Fine Arts programs as well as the Soroptimist Club of Greater New Haven. The successful event was attended by more than a hundred arts lovers who are friends of the two organizations.
Klingberg Auto Show set for June 19th
We will have the same show as planned featuring the CT-made automobiles and other meticulously restored cars in a festive, family-friendly atmosphere. Children’s activities will again include some vintage toys like stilts and hoops. Our food menu, with healthy choices made right here in our own kitchen, will reflect the spring season. The spectacular views of the fall foliage will be replaced with the as beautiful spring vistas; every season has its own beauty on our hill. June 19 will be the beginning of Father’s Day Weekend and special activities will be planned around this family theme.
